“ALL WE ARE WE OWE TO OUR MOTHER.”
-WORDS OF WISDOM FEATURED IN THE HUNTSMAN CANCER INSTITUTE LOBBY
"Hope for the Holidays is a program inspired by my mother, who has battled breast cancer for 13 years. When my mom was in remission, she had a dream to help other cancer patients through the hardships of fatigue and the financial strain that accompany chemotherapy. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with a recurrence in 2008 and she and our family started the battle over again.
Hope for the Holidays was started by my older sister, Sarah, in 2010. This year, with your help, I will organize this fundraiser and gift giving in partnership with Huntsman Cancer Foundation. Our wish is that the holidays will be a little brighter and happier for these families and that the generosity of others will uplift them. Thank you for your simple gesture of generosity this season—because of you, cancer patients and their families have a reason to hope.
